The Gooding SCD held the Little City of Rocks Workshop on Thursday, September 25th. It was a beautiful day with nearly 200 students in attendance. Shown above are some great presenters from different agencies working to educate children on Wildlife, Geology and Archeology. The District would like to thank all the presenters for helping out and a big thanks to the teachers and schools that allow their students to attend this great outdoor workshop.
2020 POSTER WINNERS!
Due to the Covid-19 and pandemic, we were unable to get out to schools for 5th grade presentations. However, Teachers from Gooding Elementary got the information out to their students and 10 competed. The Theme this year is "Where would we Bee with out Pollinators". We are thankful that a few did as it is a great opportunity.

Makenzie Whittikend from Hagerman, was this years speech contestant winner. She then wen on to state and showed what she was made of and recieved 1st place as the State Speech Winner. What a wonderful young woman with extreme talent in the field of natural resources and speaking. Thank you Makenzie.
