The Gooding Soil Conservation District is one of fifty-one districts in the State of Idaho whose purpose was mandated by the U.S. Congress to promote the conservation of natural resources and provide local leadership that strives to mold conservation with sustainable agricultural through a group of local volunteers who are elected by the general public to serve as the Board of Supervisors.
The Gooding SCD is promoting their No-Till Drill for Cover Crops and Direct seeding to improve soil health.
